Knee Scooter Rentals: FAQ

1.  Choose a knee scooter model. Each Model has a daily rate. 

2. Check availability on the calendar. It will show the availability.

3.  Enter starting and end date to get quote. 4. Fill in the booking form to complete the booking.

The deposit paid at the time of booking is equivalent to approx 30 days rental rate.  Fully refundable on return of undamaged knee-scooter. See our Rental T&C’s

Knee scooters are ideal for the following types of people: Those recovering from injuries or surgery to feet or ankles. Suffering from an inflamed or torn Achilles tendon, ankle stiffness, pain or discomfort, sprains or a ligament tear. After bunion surgery. During the non-weight bearing section of your recovery.

If you have a knee, shin or hip problem, a knee scooter is not suitable as you are required to put weight and pressure on the areas mentioned. Check first with your doctor. 

Our Knee scooters are designed to support individuals within a specific weight limit. Our knee scooters have a maximum weight capacity of 135kg (300 lbs).

You can rent from us for as long as you need the Knee scooter but, our minimum is 14 days. Rentals can commence on any weekday.

1. Place both hands on the handlebar.

2. Put the injured leg comfortably on the centre of the padded knee pad.

3. Use the other leg to move slowly forward or backward in small step while keeping the injured leg on the knee pad.

4. Move the handlebar to slowly turn left or right.

5. Use the park brake when you are getting on and off the knee scooter.
